Aims and Scope

The International Digestive Experts Articles Journal is a peer-reviewed journal on prevention, diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal disorders. The journal is primarily intended for the update of gastroenterologists, hepatologists, and all medical doctors focusing their practice on digestive pathologies.

The International Digestive Experts Articles Journal encourage the submission of spontaneous manuscripts, when in line with the aims and scope of the journal. Specific topics articles can be covered by invitation of the Board.

Authors Instruction

Submitted manuscripts will be reviewed by two or more experts who will be asked to evaluate whether the manuscript is scientifically sound and coherent, and whether or not the manuscript is sufficiently clear for publication.

Copyright of accepted articles will be transferred to the Publisher. Reproduction is permitted for non-commercial purposes, provided that the source is correctly acknowledged.

Preparing the manuscript

The type of articles published by the International Digestive Experts Articles Journal include:

  • Congress Reports
  • Original Papers
  • Hot Topics in Current Clinical Practice
  • Case Reports

All manuscripts must be submitted by e-mail to the Publisher. Only Microsoft Word documents will be accepted.

The first page of the manuscript must include authors’ full names, authors’ institutions, and corresponding author contact information (including phone and e-mail).

The second page of the manuscript must contain the abstract (including background and aims, methods, results, conclusion or appropriately structured), 3-5 keywords, abbreviation list, and the conflict of interest declaration (such as, but not limited to, employment, consultancies, stock ownership or options, honoraria, patents, and paid expert testimony) of all the authors.

When appropriate, the manuscript must be structured in sections as background and aims, methods, results, conclusion or using appropriate headings where needed.

The full generic name of pharmaceutical active ingredients must be used.

All units of measurement must follow the International System of Units. Please use a point to separate the fractional part of decimal numbers.

All acronyms and abbreviations must be spelled out when first used.

Bibliography

All references must be numbered consecutively in the order in which they are cited in the text, followed by any in tables or legends. The reference numbers must be finalized and the reference list fully formatted before submission. Reference list must be formatted as follows:

Tables and Figures

Tables can be included in the main manuscript file, before Bibliography. Please submit figures as separate file in JPEG, TIFF, EPS, or PDF formats (300 PPI resolution).
